Hangzhou Westsoft S&T Co., Ltd. (Hangzhou Wesklake Soft Co., Ltd.) was founded in June 1993. As a hi-tech company developing from the Artificial Intelligence Group of Computer Department, Zhejiang University, we devote to hotel information construction and development that is accustomed to Chinese conditions. The Artificial Intelligence Institute of Zhejiang University was found in 1987, among the first to have computer doctor program in 1986, and post- doctor station. As one of the ten top institutes of Zhejiang University and the best computer institute in Zhejiang, it now owns faculty of over 40 teachers, among whom 20 are professors (10 doctor instructors, 2 post doctor instructors), 20 are associate professors. The former head is the post doctor instructor Prof. He Zhijun, one of the most prestigious authorities in national computer field, founder of Wireless Radio Department and Computer Department of Zhejaing University. The current head is the post doctor instructor Prof. Pan Yunhe, president of Zhejiang University, academician of China Academy of Engineering and chairman of Zhejiang Computer Academy. 　The Artificial Intelligence Institute of Zhejaing University noticed the important play of computer in hotel management system in 1987 and began research on famous hotel computer management systems at home and abroad such as Ecco, Lodgistix, as well as study on domestic hotels. Based on the study, a group was established in 1988 to develop hotel management soft in Beijing Dongfang Hotel. In order to better improve China hotel management system, Hanghzou Wesklake Soft Company (the original one of Westsoft) was founded in June 1993.
